Overview
This guide explains how Burq fees are structured and where to find delivery-related financial data in CaterZen.
If you haven’t set up Burq yet, start with Introduction to Burq in CaterZen and Connecting Burq to CaterZen guide.
Burq Fee Breakdown
Burq charges your business for each delivery, and all fees are consolidated into the Burq Delivery Fee.
Included in the Burq Delivery Fee
Third-Party Provider Delivery Fee (DoorDash, Dlivrd, DeliverThat)
$1.99 Transaction Fee
$2.00 Platform Fee
NOTE: These fees are bundled into the single delivery cost shown during order setup—there are no additional hidden charges.
Delivery Fee Behavior
If the delivery fee on the order is unchanged, Burq will display the normal delivery fee automatically.
If the delivery fee was manually updated on the order, Burq will label it as “Delivery Fee on Order.”
A tooltip clarifies that this is the amount you set to charge your Customer, not the default fee.
⚠️ Once a Burq delivery is booked, the delivery fee cannot be edited.
Driver Tips
Tips can be handled in two ways:
During the Burq order process – if none were set earlier.
Carried over automatically – if a tip already exists on the order.
Once a tip is defined, it is locked and cannot be changed in the Burq booking flow.
Tips are paid directly to the Burq driver.
Tips are not part of the Burq Delivery Fee.
