Overview

Sometimes customers send documents—like maps, event instructions, or tax exempt documents—that need to be attached to their order for easy reference. 


Files can be uploaded directly from your computer or selected from the customer’s CRM record. If you upload a file to a CRM record, it will be available for reuse on future orders for that customer—saving time and keeping everything organized.


  • Supported file types: PDF, DOC, DOX. XLS, XLSX, JPG, or TIFF

How to Attach a File to an Order

  • Retrieve the order you wish to add the file to
    (This will bring you to the Order Details page.)

  • Click the Choose a Function dropdown menu.

  • Select Attach Files.


  • In the Attached Files window, you will see two options for adding a file: Choose File (Upload From Computer) or Choose File From CRM

Option 1: Upload From Your Computer

  • Click the Choose File button on the left.

    

  • Your file browser will open. Select the file you want to upload.


  • After selecting the file, you will see the name listed to the left. Now click Upload File.

    

  • Once uploaded, the file will appear in the attachments list at the top of the order. You can also now choose to View or Delete it.

Option 2: Choose File From the CRM Record

  • Click the Choose File From CRM tab.


  • A pop-up will display all files previously uploaded to the customer’s CRM record. 

    • Reminder: Any file uploaded to an order is automatically saved in the CRM as well.

  • Click the file you want to attach. It will be instantly added to the order.

            

  • Once attached, the file will appear in the attachments list at the top of the order, where you can View or Delete it at any time.
