Overview
The Email Status Report helps you track the delivery status of emails sent to customers from CaterZen. This report is useful for confirming whether messages—such as order confirmations, invoices, or marketing emails—were successfully delivered, rejected, or bounced. Use this report if a customer says they didn’t receive an email or if you want to audit your communication history.
Accessing the Report
Go to the More tab in your CaterZen account.
Select Reports → Data Export Reports.
Click Email Status Report at the bottom of the list.
Choose a Date Range or enter a specific Email Address to search.
Click Generate Report.
Understanding the Report
Once the report loads, you’ll see detailed information about each outgoing email, including:
Sent At – Date and Time when the email was sent from CaterZen.
From / To – The sender and recipient email addresses.
Subject – The subject line of the sent message.
For Order – The Order ID associated with the email, if applicable.
Status History – The delivery status for each message:
Delivered – Successfully sent to the customer’s inbox.
Bounce – Message was not sent due to an invalid address or other error.
Rejected – Email was blocked or filtered as spam by the recipient’s mail server.
Unknown – Awaiting status update or unable to confirm delivery.
Exporting or Sharing
At the top of the page, you can:
Print, Download, or View in Excel for further review.
Email the Report to yourself or another team member.
Best Practices
Use this report when troubleshooting email delivery issues or verifying that automated messages (like invoices or receipts) reached customers.
If emails are consistently dropped or rejected, confirm the customer’s email address and suggest they whitelist your domain (e.g., @caterzen.com).
