Overview
Converting a quote into an order in CaterZen is a simple process that ensures your customer’s request moves smoothly from proposal to confirmation.
Accessing the Quote
There are three ways to locate an existing quote:
From the Overview Tab
Click Overview and select View All Quotes.
Find the quote you want to convert and click the View This Quote icon under the Action column.
From the CRM Tab
Go to CRM and search for the customer or company.
Open their record and click the Quotes icon.
Locate the quote and click View This Quote.
From the Calendar Tab
Open the Calendar tab.
Quotes appear in purple on the calendar.
Click the quote to open a pop‑up, then select the link to view the quote.
Converting the Quote
Once viewing the quote, open the Quote Function drop‑down menu.
Select Convert This Quote to an Order.
You will be taken to the Order Entry tab, with a green banner indicating the quote is now in the cart.
Review the details and make any necessary changes.
Scroll to the bottom and click Place Your Order.
Optional: Rebooking Reminders
If the anniversary reminder feature is enabled, a pop‑up will appear asking if you’d like to create a rebooking reminder. This can be used to:
Follow up months later for future events.
Call the customer the day after the order for feedback.
Confirmation
You’ll know the conversion is successful when the Order Details page appears with a unique Order ID number and a green confirmation box.
