Overview
Editing a quote in CaterZen is straightforward, allowing you to quickly update details before sending, saving, or converting it into an order.
Accessing the Quote
There are three ways to locate an existing quote:
From the Overview Tab
Click Overview and select View All Quotes.
Find the quote you want to edit and click the View This Quote icon under the Action column.
From the CRM Tab
Go to CRM and search for the customer or company.
Open their record and click the Quotes icon.
Locate the quote and click View This Quote.
From the Calendar Tab
Open the Calendar tab.
Quotes appear in purple on the calendar.
Click the quote to open a pop‑up, then select the link to view the quote.
Editing the Quote
While viewing the quote, open the Quote Function drop‑down menu.
Select Edit This Quote.
You will be taken to the Order Entry tab, with an orange and green banners indicating you are editing that quote.
Make your changes as needed.
Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes to Quote.
Optional: Quote Reminders
If the anniversary reminder feature is enabled, a pop‑up will appear asking if you’d like to schedule a Quote Reminder.
Next Steps After Editing
After saving changes, you will have several options:
View/Download/Print PDF – Print the quote as a PDF.
View Online (HTML) – See the live online version.
Send by Fax – Enter a fax number to send for $0.10/page.
Send by Email – Email the quote directly to the customer.
Convert to an Order – Turn the quote into a confirmed order.
Send a Contract – Send a contract linked to the quote.
