Overview

The Phone Notification Status Report allows you to review the history and status of automated phone call notifications made through your CaterZen account. This report helps you confirm whether phone notifications for new orders were successfully placed, completed, or failed—ensuring your team never misses a catering order alert. It’s especially useful for locations that rely on phone notifications instead of email or text to alert staff when an order comes in.


Accessing the Report

  • Go to the More tab in your CaterZen account.

  • Select ReportsData Export Reports.


  • Click Phone Notification Status Report.

  • Choose your Filter Parameters (see below).

  • Click Generate Report.


Understanding the Report

The report includes detailed information for each phone notification:

  • Date and Time Attempted

  • Completion Status (e.g., Completed, Failed, No Answer)

  • Phone Number Called

  • Call Duration

  • Date and Time Completed

This data allows you to verify if all notifications were successfully delivered and identify any issues with failed calls.


Common Use Cases

  • Order Verification: Confirm that every new order triggered a phone notification at the store or call center.

  • Troubleshooting: Identify failed or missed calls to ensure no orders go unnoticed.

  • Location Oversight: Track call performance across multiple locations to ensure notifications are working properly.

  • Staff Follow-Up: Use timestamps to confirm when calls were received by staff members.


Exporting or Sharing

At the top of the page, you can:

  • Print, Download, or View in Excel for further review.

  • Email the Report to yourself or another team member.


Best Practices

  • Check this report periodically to ensure no missed calls or incomplete notifications.

  • If multiple calls fail, verify the store’s registered phone number under Location Settings.

  • Combine with the SMS Text Message Status Report and Email Status Report for a complete view of all notification channels.

  • Archive monthly exports for internal compliance or franchise performance reviews.
