Overview
Custom Production Reports allow you to create focused prep reports based on a specific group of prep items. Instead of pulling a full kitchen production report, you can build smaller reports for stations, categories, or teams, such as Meats, Sides, Desserts, or a specific production line.
These reports are especially helpful when you want to:
Break prep work out by station or category
Give different teams their own prep lists
Reduce clutter on large production days
IMPORTANT: Custom Production Reports rely on your existing prep item formulas. You must have formulas set up for Menu Items for this report to work appropriately. If you need help building formulas, schedule a session at BookTimeWithJill.com.
How Custom Production Reports Fit With Other Reports
Custom Production Reports are pulled for date ranges, similar to the Kitchen Production Reports.
Use Order Production Report for a single order
Use Kitchen Production Report (Legacy) for full menu and modifier detail
Use V2 Kitchen Production Report for a simplified prep-only list
Use Custom Production Reports when you want targeted prep lists for specific items or stations
